Ways to Make Money From Your Smartphone or Tablet

You may see your smartphone and data plan as just another monthly expense.

However, many cash-strapped smartphone users are turning their mobile devices into portable ATM machines.

Forget playing yet another round of Angry Birds during your daytime downtime: here are 7 legit strategies that you can tap into to actually earn money on the go.
Swagbucks App

The concept of getting paid to take surveys has been around since the early days of the world wide web.

But it's never gone mobile...until now.

While Swagbucks isn't your typical paid survey panel, it does offer a number of ways to earn rewards (including searching and playing games). These rewards (known as Swagbucks) can be redeemed for hundreds of prizes, including Visa gift cards and video games.

Unlike many of the opportunities listed here you can still participate in Swagbucks even when you're at home using your PC or Mac.

Smartkick

If you're a shopaholic you're going to love Smartkick app. With this popular iPhone app you actually earn rewards just for visiting your favorite stores.

Of course you can earn even more rewards if you actually buy something while you're there, but it's not necessary. Just download the app and choose the stores that you visit on a regular basis. The app will detect that you've entered the store and automatically add rewards points to your account.

Although your rewards (known as "Kicks") can't be converted to cash, you can use them to receive special promotions and discounts when buying the things you need.

Make Your Own App

Have you ever been bored, playing around with your iPhone or Android, and come up with a great idea for an app? If so, you may want to consider launching your own app based on your brilliant insights. Although the app market is more crowded than ever there are plenty of "Appreneurs" turning their app ideas into 6-figure businesses.

Unless you already know how to program apps you'll need at least $4,000 to design, launch and promote a professional app.

And like any business, you'll probably want to read case studies of people that have done it. While getting your app out there is somewhat easy, monetizing it isn't. Have a monetization plan in place before you launch.

Gigwalk

Gigwalk is an app that helps people like you earn some extra money when you have some time to kill.

Here's how it works: you download the app and enter information about your work experience, age and where you live.

When someone needs a minor task to be done -- such as checking the availability of an item at a store or gathering information from potential customers as part of a market research campaign -- they hire you to do the work.

Depending on the time needed and expertise required you can rake in anywhere from $5 to $25 per gig. Currently available in over 6,000 cities in the US, so even if you live in a small town there's probably a Gigwalk gig somewhere nearby.

Easyshift

If you're in need of quick cash you'd be hard pressed to beat Easyshift. With this app business owners in your area put you to work for one or part of one shift at their business. For example, if a catering company needs a few extra hands, they'll post on Easyshift that they're looking for someone to help out for one night only.

When the job is done, you get paid on the spot via Paypal. They also offer mystery shopping opportunities, which tend to be higher-paying than many other commonly posted jobs.

Task Rabbit

Task Rabbit is similar to Easyshift except that the focus is on running errands. As a Task Rabbit you'll be doing anything from picking up laundry to assembling furniture for people that are low on time but have some spare money to spend.

This site is growing fast, but is only available in a select few metropolitan areas. Note that most of the activity at this site takes place in New York City and San Francisco.

Become a Virtual Assistant

Busy executives and small business owners are increasingly ditching their desk secretary in favor of a digital assistant (known technically as a Virtual Assistant, or VA).

Most of the tasks assigned to VAs are web research, emailing, posting content to blogs, updating social media accounts and customer service.

Although some of these tasks would be a challenge for those with smartphones, most VA gigs can be done with ease using a tablet, like an iPad.

Forex Trading Psychology: What Makes A Successful Forex Trader?

The Forex market has changed through the years, growing in volume and expanding across multiple time zones.

Brokerage houses have changed, too, going online with sophisticated software and powerful servers.

Economic indicators and technical analysis have become more sophisticated, too, until the Forex market of today bears little resemblance to what it used to be.

But there’s one thing that hasn’t changed: most traders lose.

Despite all the advances in the Forex marketplace, the ratio of winners to losers remains low. Experts agree that the most hopeful number that can be advanced is a measly 10%, which means that 90% of all traders on any particular day will lose.

Experts also agree that the reason most traders lose is because they allow their emotions to cloud their judgment.

Most people trade on hope and fear, rather than facts. Rather than basing their trades on what the charts and the indicators actually say, these people trade on what they want them to say. They hang onto a losing trade and follow the graph down, hoping the currency pair will turn around. Or they exit a trade too soon, fearing the trend won’t last, and are satisfied with pennies that even the best Forex money management cannot balance against their losses.

Other people lose through greed, by trying to pick the highs and lows too nicely to maximize their profits to the penny. Rather than waiting to place a trade when the indicators confirm the market’s movement, they jump in too soon and are disappointed when the anticipated break-out never occurs.

Remember, there is no magic software or fool-proof trading scheme. If you cannot control your emotions, then you cannot become a winner despite yourself. But there are things you can do to improve your chances of being one of the winners, and the most powerful is to follow these rules of Forex trading:

Prepare a trading plan, using good Forex money management skills and the trading strategy of your choice—then trade your plan. Don’t alter your plan or fudge your criteria if you don’t see a good trade for a few days; wait for the market to fulfill your requirements before risking your money. Remember the law of averages: sooner or later, the market will come around.

Use stops, and trailing stops when possible, to control losses and protect your profits. Remember to set your stops far enough away from the entry price so that you aren’t closed out by normal market jitters.

Paper trade with a demo account until you are efficient and feel comfortable in the market.

When you move on and start trading with real money, it feels different than paper trading! But this is no time to change your plan. To minimize the effects of emotion, set a small, realistic initial goal and trade until you achieve your goal more often than not. Use small sums in micro or mini accounts. Only when you are comfortable risking your cash and sometimes losing it should you attempt to trade with larger sums of money.

Study your trading record and try to figure out what went wrong when you lost. To put it simply, learn from your mistakes. That alone will put you ahead of the crowd!

Google Zebra Update Set To Wipe All Websites On The Internet: Is This Gonna happen?

Hello Fellow Webmaster, if you have been following the SEO trends lately then you might likely have heard of the upcoming update said to be ‘Google Zebra‘, or if you are just hearing that for the first time you are welcome to reading more about it on this post.
According to other SEO forums, Blogs And Websites on the internet talking about the Google zebra update, it is said that the update is focused on websites and blogs with excuse use of some keywords on their blogs.

What are these keywords mentioned? Here they are

Google Zebra Update Keywords:
Money

More keywords are said to be added soon which means the above keywords isn’t all.

What this entails is that, the upcoming update is going to wipe out blogs and sites with excess use of those keywords in blog posts or pages just like Google panda and the likes the only difference is that google panda focuses on poor content and backlinks while google zebra focuses on keywords.

Is this Update Really Going To Happen?
Webmaster, to be candid I’m really not sure whether or not the zebra update is going to really take effect but even if it does, am pretty sure it’s not going to wipe out all blogs with those keywords as it was said and I have got speculations to this.

Observation 1: You do have a blog right? Now take a close look at your blog contents and take a close observation at the above keywords, did any of those keywords appear in your blog post? Am pretty sure Yes and which tells you that %60-%80 of websites and blogs on the internet has one or two of those keywords, now if the update was going to really happen the way it was explained, your blog is going to be hit and same goes for %60-%80 sites.

Observation 2: If you take a close look at Google Adwords keywords in which advertisers use in their campaigns, majority of the above keywords appear there especially ‘sell’. Most advertisers are selling products, if zebra update should take effect then their website is wiped off search results why then should they keep advertising?

Observation 3: Most Top blogs and websites like techrader, techcrunch, marshable etc do have those keywords in their contents and adsense publishers survive mostly from search engine traffic, imagine no enough traffic, would there be enough earnings on both adsense and adword users?

Observation 4: Imagine a Google search user goes on Google to make a research for example ‘Buy Android Tablet‘ and Google displays results on the first page stating ‘Importance of Android tablets‘ is the Google search user satisfied with the result? Obviously No, and with that, users will just go off google and use other search engines in making searches.

Conclusion: I really do not think the google zebra update is going to take place anytime soon and even if it does, it is not going to wipe out blogs and websites with the above keywords like it is been discussed unless Google itself is tired of doing business.

Tips on Increasing Website Traffic through Google Images

What do you usually do whenever you spot a great photo in search results? Do you download and save it on your computer or do you click on the site that has uploaded it? If you do, imagine your readers clicking on the pictures, which your domain ranks for. This is a good way of increasing website traffic through Google Images.
As for me, I do both. I love browsing the Web for cool pictures of just about anything, from chocolate cupcakes to fashionable dresses. If I see an amazing image, I immediately download it on my laptop. Then, I check out the site that hosts it to find out if it offers other quality photos. I also go over the content if the title looks promising.
Why am I telling you this?
I am not the only person who likes to do these things. Several users out there look for photos too and if they come across one they like, they may just access the site that owns it.
So what does this have to do with you then? If you have a website, you can benefit greatly from these individuals.
“How?”, you may wonder. You can boost your site’s visibility.
How Do You Get Targeted Traffic From Images?
A user once posted this question as a comment to my blog post. He wanted to find out how I was able to determine if the stream of people coming in my site was indeed relevant.
I told the person that the traffic I get from such results is generally targeted since most users’ searches are specific. If, for example, I have a photo of a black dress and I optimise it properly, it can rank high for keywords I am using. And if these people visit my website, this is when I obtain quality traffic.
You Can Benefit From Google Image Search

Given that insight, it goes to show that you can increase the number of users visiting your site by adding your pages with photos.
As a note though, you do not just put any pictures. You must choose those with high quality and relevancy to your topic. Other than that, you need to apply the following tips:
Place The Right Photos
Assuming that you are writing about enjoying a holiday cruise in the Caribbean but the images show snow-capped mountains and chalets. Do you think there is a connection here?
Obviously, the answer is no. And if you insist on doing this repeatedly, you may lose some of your readers’ interest as well as your credibility. They may even deem you incapable of providing valuable information.
If you don’t want this to happen, always choose your photos carefully. Before you add them, don’t forget the next ideas.
Incorporate Keywords
Where? In strategic places like the following:
Filename – Change those series of digits with something more concise and descriptive. Maybe you can use Caribbean-sailing-holiday.jpg (note the jpg, which is the recommended extension) for a photo of your trip to the destination.
Alttag – Also called alternative text, you need this so that the search bots can index and crawl your images for related terms. You also require this as a code for screen readers to help the software interpret pictures’ content for the sake of visually impaired users.
Caption – You can choose to skip this aspect. But, personally, I prefer photos with descriptions. This is why I never forget to place one for my own images.
Show Your Creativity
Hmm, does this tip seem tricky? How can you be artistic with your photos?
Well, don’t just settle on boring ones. You can use comic strips, Instagram or Photoshop-edited pictures, or adorable stick figures. However, make sure that they are appropriate for the topic.
Remember, it is all up to you to make your site content interesting. So don’t be afraid to experiment and express your individuality through your work.
Final Thoughts
Do you think these strategies will work for you? You will never know unless you try, right?
So, what is your experience with Google Images? We would like to know what you have to say.

The Importance of Linkbuilding in Modern SEO

Links are vital for any blog. They can, of course, be understood to have two broad categories: inbound and outbound. They’re both worthwhile. Both types of links can also provide you with valuable information about what type of the niche your blog is appealing to and about how you may be able to market it more effectively. Here are some of the aspects of links that you should consider.
Outgoing Links in Blog Entries
It’s generally accepted that people leaving your site is a bad thing. It’s actually not that simple. When people come to your site and they find a link that leads them to something they really appreciate, you’re making a good impression on them and it’s likely that they’ll come back to your site. They will view your site as a reference, precisely because it is a reference.
When you link to an off-site location in a blog post, make sure that the link is relevant to what the post is about and that it actually enhances the blog post by providing interesting additional information for the reader. Consider, for a moment, that some of the most successful blogs in the world are made up largely of links to content that doesn’t even show up on the blog’s own site.
There are various utilities that allow you to inspect your links to make sure that none of them are broken. Make sure you run one of these once in a while. Search engines don’t like sites that have a lot of broken links on them and, if they start to build up on your site, it may start to have a negative effect on your search engine optimization efforts.
Inbound Links in Modern SEO
The best kind of inbound link you can have on your blog is an inbound link utilizing your keywords from a site with very high Page Rank and a lot of traffic. These are hard to come by. Most of the time, you’ll be getting links through directories, link swaps with other webmasters and other bloggers and, if you’re lucky, from any blog posts you’ve managed to publish on blogs much larger and more popular than your own. You need to make certain that these inbound links are of a high quality, just as is the case of outgoing links.

If you go to Google, you can execute a search to find out what sites link to your own. The syntax is: “link:TheURL.com” without the quotation marks and with the URL you want to know about replacing the sample URL. This will give you a list of sites that have inbound links to your own. Take a look at them and see if they’re the kind of sites that you actually do want to have inbound links from. If not, you may want to do a bit of reputation management to displace them in importance or get your link removed. Feel free like the kid below in modern SEO!

Including links in your blog posts to other posts within your site is generally considered to be a good idea, as well. It’s a particularly good idea if it actually serves the reader. It creates a situation where the reader can keep clicking links and going through your content, increasing the amount of time that they spend on your site.
Having good links on your blog can make sure that you are getting the most out of the work you put into it. WordPress templates make it easy to customize the look of your links, which ensures that readers see them and are more likely to click on them. WordPress also has many utilities that allow you to give links a more attractive format than they have by default.

How To Double or Triple your AdSense Earnings [Updated]

Google AdSense is the best PPC advertising program so far. It shares thousands of dollars among its partner sites per month. Most webmasters are keen to add Google AdSense ad units on their own blog. But it is not easy to get approval from AdSense team.
Once in past I tried a lot to get Google AdSense on my blog. You may think why it is that difficult to sing up with AdSense even with hundreds of posts on my blog. No, those daysI didn’t have a blog like this. It is just a basic blog with only 10-12 posts. Now you may think the blogs with few posts will not be accepted by Google AdSense. Of course yes. They don’t like blogs with few numbers of posts. In other words they love blogs with huge content. That is why once we said “Content is the King“.

Anyway I worked hard and finally I was able to sign up with Google AdSense. Then I was very happy. I thought I won the whole world. And I thought I will become a rich man with in next few months. But unfortunately I was wrong. Within the first month I got only one click. I still remember the amount I earned from AdSense during the first month after approving my AdSense account. It is less than one dollar (I can’t mention the amount, because it is against the AdSense TOS). It came from India. Then I went mad, but never did illegal things to earn money such as illegal clicks.

Then I went everywhere to read on AdSense. The first place I read is AdSense policies. I think they are still embedded in my mind. Then I read every possible source to learn about AdSense and how to improve the income from AdSense. After reading I understood one thing clearly. That is if I want more clicks, I want to bring more visitors. Then another problem came out. You can imagine it; that is howto get more visitors to my blog. Then I read everywhere to find how to get traffic to my blog. Finally I was able to get sufficient amount of traffic to my blog by implementing the strategies I learned from those articles. But here I am not going to show you how to increase your AdSense income by increasing your traffic. Everyone knows it. Here we are going to discuss the way to increase the amount of your income by just doing some adjustment to your AdSense ad units.

Following are the three main steps we are going to implement on our ad unit.

1. Remove the Google AdSense Border

As you seen AdSense ad units are surrounded by a border. The upper part of the text box says “Ads by Google” earlier, now it says “Adchoice”. Your target is to re-assemble the AdSense units similar to your content. But, how to do it? I tried to remove the border. But it didn’t work since Google not allow you to delete the border of ad units. But you can change the color of the border. I can see you got my point. Now change it to your template color. This will make no border to your ad units.

2. Use Rectangular Box ad units for your Blog

I used different ad units and experiment with almost all the ad units. Finally evaluating the results I got most effective AdSense unit for my blog. They are large size and medium size rectangles which place on upper part of the blog. The text ad units generate more clicks than the banner ads. This is most probably due to ignorance of banner ads by readers as advertisements.

3. Adjust your color accordingly

Google allows you the freedom to change the colors as required. So get the advantage of it. Change the background color as it blend with the template colors. And link colors as prominent. If your links colors are red change the AdSense links colors to red. Then people will think those links are from your site.

Well these three simple adjustments made me a lot of money from AdSense. I was able to increase my income from AdSense by 40-50% by applying these simple tips.

Another one important word to say. That is most people are saying about “AdSense secrets”. But I want to stress you the secret is “There are nosecrets”. If there are any secrets they will implement it by themselves and earn money. They will not come to teach you those secrets and earn money. I think you got my point, aren’t you?

Just follow above mentioned simple tricks by keeping on your mind “Content is the king“. And develop your traffic as much as you can.

How To Make Money Fast Using Adsense

I’ve been making money from Adsense for the past 3 years and have hit both the highs and lows before.
I’ve reach $100 per day before (using tedious grey hat methods) and have hit a low $5 per day (When Google changes algorithm).
Yeah, I almost gave up Adsense at one point.
Today, I’m back to just $600+ per month and after playing with black, grey and white hats, I came to some conclusions. I want to play a fair game with Google now and so I’m building my Adsense earnings properly with time-tested techniques.
Trust me, I’ll reach my $1000 per month by June and $2000 per month by end of this year.
Here’s what I discovered and if you should follow my advice, you should have no problems reaching a good $10 per day (which I think that’s a basic target that I read from most people in this forum):

Content is king – Heed this advice, friends. Content IS king. Google loves content and if your website keeps giving content they gotta love you.
Big website wins - When I say big website, I mean at least 100 pages of content. It should be built slowly from 10-20 pages, adding 1-2 new pages every week. I have a website that boasts a good 300+ pages of content and that is earning me $4-$5 per day.
Don’t be afraid of PLR - I use both original and PLR content for all my websites. There is not specific ratio between original and PLR content. I have one site with 100+ pages where 80+ pages are PLR and only 20+ pages are original and that site is still earning me a good $5-$8 per day. The key here is to make sure that all the content related to each other. It short, make it themed.
Put Adsense blocks at the upper fold - This shouldn’t be new to you. You ought to have a 728 x 90 block near the top, a 336 x 280 in the content and a 120 x 600 side block for EVERY page. That covers pretty much a lot.
Blend your adsense to the webpage - Nothing new here. You should understand this.
All your Adsense links should be blue - People are used to clicking on the blue link so don’t change them unless you have personally tested to show that other color works for you.
Participate in Ad Revenue sharing forums - This is mostly forgotten. Digital point is one of them. There are many other forums that allow ad revenue sharing. I had days where I receive ‘unknown’ $3 or $5 click out of nowhere. My guess is that it is from the ad revenue sharing forums like Digitial point. Don’t miss this.

Ignore the high paying keywords - Trust me, they will NEVER work. Stop aiming for those $20 per click keywords. People selling and offering these keyword lists are worthless. Why? Just run a competition check and you will see 20,000,000 competing sites for that keyword. Are you going to try that?
Volume counts - Don’t worry with lower paying keywords. You can slowly build it up. Volume counts in the end. You can get paid a measly $0.10 per click but if that is a well search keyword, you can get 10-20 clicks of $0.10 each, which still represents a good $2 for that keyword.
Never stop the SEO game - SEO is crucial if you want to win the Adsense game. So, always do these everyday: Find good keywords (ie. high search, low competition), write and submit articles, build backlinks legally and naturally, etc. Do it everyday, and you will see the fruits.
Lastly, remember that Adsense is just another monetization tool for all of us. For me I love to monetize via Adsense because I only care about CTR. I don’t have to be concerned with salesletter conversion, landing page CTR, etc. My visitors just click and I make money, easiest money ever.

Get accepted by adsense in a few hours!

I found out 2 ways to get accepted verry easy and quick..
The first way that I discovered myself is related to your youtube channel
If you having a youtube channel (I think everybody alreday have one) post some vids on it, you can choose between making some by yourself or just steal some vids from other users.
When the vids are online and accepted again you can choose. You can wait till the vids are getting some views (a bit hard with the tons of vids online) or you can use Youtube Automator.

Get yourself some vid and channel views and then use your youtube channel when subscribing to google adsense.
The second method is (I think) wellknown to you guys. Just open a blog with blogger, add some posts and subscribe with this site.
Personally I use some funny newspaper articles in my own language and I translate them to English. This way I’m already getting a decent amount of visitors and I’m earning about $10 a day now with Google Adsense.
These 2 methods will do the trick and you can get accepted by google Adsense in a few hours.

7 AdSense Tricks that Will Increase Your Income

We all know that making money on the Internet is not as easy as affiliate marketers make it sound. Oh hey just work for 20 minutes a day and you will make like $5000 a month. Seriously? Lying to people who understand how advertising/affiliate programs work on the web is one thing, but lying to people who have a minimum amount of knowledge is just wrong. Adsense haters degrade the service and swear that it’s horrible. The truth is, it’s a perfect start for beginners. Also by optimizing their ads properly, even intermediate bloggers can make decent money.

Having a bigger brother holding your hand is a safer feeling than hustling to find advertisers. Don’t take this the wrong way, private advertising is great. However it’s very time consuming especially when you’re starting out. You have more important things to worry about. Like um I don’t know, writing content? When it comes down to it you obviously need the traffic and that only comes through your own marketing efforts. But some publishers have the traffic and still don’t see the kind of money they expect with the Adsense advertising program.

Do you want to increase your AdSense CTR and revenue? If you said yes, then here are 7 AdSense Tricks that will increase your AdSense income without a fail!

1. Blend your ads with your website

Make your ads a part of your website. You don’t need to frame it or make it looks like obvious advertisements. Just blend with your website template. Make sure to optimize your ad colors and make your ads to have the same color with your website template.

2. Spotlight your ads

Make sure to draw people’s attention to your AdSense ads. It doesn’t mean that you should tell them to click your ads. No. There is a good method to spotlight your ads so that people naturally put their attention to your AdSense ads. One good method is by giving section tag such as Premium Advertisement or something else and giving your ad blocks a good color background. The color should be well-mixed with your website template.

3. Stop putting ads in out-of-reach place

Some people will tell you that your website should focus on the content. It is true. But, you are creating a website in order to earn from it. So, it doesn’t hurt you to put some ads on it. However, it is a mistake if you put your ads in bad places, i.e. on the spots that people will naturally ignore. So, aside from your content, you have to place your ads in the visible spots such as in your first paragraph. It will blend with your content and it will give you better click through rate.

4. Don’t separate your ads from your content

Remember that your ads must be a part of your content. Although you place your ads above the fold, people will ignore your ads if they are separated from your content. So, for example, if you place a big leaderboard ad above the fold just before you article title, people will tend to ignore it because it is obviously a banner ad. But, if you place a 300×250 ad inside your content, people will tend to click on it because they unconsciously think that it is part of your content.

5. Don’t make lots of out-of-topic posts

Stick with your website niche and create articles around the keywords related to your niche. It will help Google to place the most relevant ads to your website. If you can’t stick with your website topic, chances are that Google will place irrelevant ads in your website. And it will mean big thing.
